a further expansion of the aspen concept as seen here --> [link] the chibis to the right-hand margin should give you an idea. my first post of "aspen" is a bit inaccurate, as you can see the creature itself is wearing a bandage, scarf, and jacket, when in reality it is the host's clothing...i don't know, it felt kinda wrong to let the little guy go naked. i must say that i am a bit disappointed that i didn't decide to flesh out the creature itself in my original post, because it now means i have to illustrate and over-accentuate certain details that are seemingly invisible to the audience. "aspen" is the nickname of the dude, derived from "auschpen", his surname.
...please disregard the analog sketch to the upper-left, i was testing my pencil point. :-P

i apologize for the sketchy nature of the pic...i literally drew it in my anthropology class...i have no intention of coloring, so this probably might end up in the scrapbook later.
